The great MARTINI DROP is born!

It is my hope that we all live in places that we enjoy on some level. I truly never thought I'd live in such a vibrant, fun, and expressive city as Palm Springs; what's a few months of brutal heat when most of the year is perfection?

There's always something going on. Some fundraiser, pool party, cocktail party, dinner party, or in our case cookie exchange party!

But this year a couple of innovative guys - Kurt Cyr and Jay Zaltzman, started a new party tradition that binds us all together in a very ICONIC Palm Springs way. For more info on the origins of this fun event, check out this link - PALM SPRINGS OLIVE DROP.

So to enthusiastically support this super duper event Jake took tons of pictures from the two NYE parties we stuffed ourselves at and then went to work with his magic. You're gonna love what he did; his artistic talent is SO over my head, but never fear, I constantly remind him he lives with a chef!

SO TO SEE HOW THIS TURNS OUT JUMP JUMP JUMP!!!

We can make this a fantastic 2012, especially if we all play together in the good, bad, and unexpected that comes our way.  We can all look forward to dropping an olive in the 2013 Martini no matter where we live! Here's to owning 2012!!!
