Palm Springs Modernism with El Rancho Vista Estates Wexler Home Tour!

Mood Wine was the proud sponsor of this way cool event held Saturday the 25th of February.

We are SO ready to rock the home tour lawn with some major wine MOJO...
Got my three power wines, my new hat and a sunny disposition
And Jake with his new Mood Wine orange shirt...
Jake, a Pinot and a Rhone Blend... Watch out Palm Springs
HERE WE COME!

We poured three wines, Woodworth Vineyards Pinot Noir, along with Fazeli Cellars Yalda, and Sauvignon Blanc.

Can you tell this was going to be a swanky affair?
Modernism personified
For more amazing pictures of El Rancho Vista Estates...

JUMP...

This fundraiser home tour was sold out, and while I set up the wine tasting at the final home stop on the tour...
Do I look like I'm ready for 250 thirsty home touring wine drinkers?
Jake got busy taking pictures... this first (of four) post is all about the people...
With this fun shirt how could Jake NOT be on fire?
He got out there and captured the spirit of this groovy event, and it wouldn't be complete without Ashley and Erik (their house is the second of the three photo posts following this one). Ironically, we met this super cool couple at Jake's (no not my Jake) restaurant several months ago, and didn't realize they lived in this neighborhood...
These two know how to rock groovyliciousness!!!
And Ashley's BFF Brian Wolbaum also lives in the hood... HE OWNS SWANK in a way that inspires me...
HOW DOES HE DO IT???
And back at the home where I was pouring wine, I got to meet one of Palm Spring's most hip and cool stylists... Read Brown...

We (didn't) call each other before hand - SERIOUSLY
But we SURE do have good taste in color palates and SHOES...
This is just the way it was supposed to be!!!
And mingling with the over 200 modernism touring folk were these three FIERCE women...
Maureen, Ashley, and third sexy blond, oh and the guy in the background is dashing too
Thank goodness they were rocking their big sunglasses, otherwise this glittery glass ball may have blinded them with its sparkle...
Glass ball on table
It was so much fun! I had to include this picture too...
