From Fiaschi to Little Brute to Super Hero?

This is the first in my latest batch of video-casts. Hope it empowers (no pun intended) you as you shop for that perfect Tuscan style wine.

And after you've watched this, take the JUMP... I have just a few more tidbits on this wine.
The video-cast focused on the origins of the Super Tuscan. Following is some additional information about the "other Sangiovese" -- Brunello di Montalcino.

"The big bold, and much loved version of Sangiovese is called Brunello di Montalcino. Like its cousin Chianti this wine is an Italian star. The name brunello is translated ‘little dark one”. These wines must be aged at least 4 years, with 3½ in barrels before they can be released. The Riserva must age for 5 years. They are some of the most expensive wines in Italy and rival their northern cousins made, with the Barbera grape, in popularity." Patrick Bartlett - Excerpt from Inland Empire Magazine

And finally in my title I use the word "Fiaschi" -- this is the name of the traditional round straw wrapped Chianti bottle - I mentioned the bottle in the video-cast, but forgot to use its traditional name.
