I am lucky, I get to work with several amazing wineries in Southern
California. Today, I'd like to introduce one of them to you. Tucalota
Creek Ranch...
"Hey, I'm trying to eat here" says a curious horse during dinner |
This AMAZINGLY beautiful 30+ acre ranch is located in the Temecula countryside. It is a working Quarter Horse breeding and training ranch with amazing grounds and facilities.
The owners, Alan and Kay Needle recently released a wine label to honor the horses and riders who make the American Quarter Horse Association so well know in American culture....
Each bottle of wine is made to honor a famed horse or rider |

When you join their wine club, you will automatically become a member of the private Club at Tucalota Creek Ranch. As a club member you'll get to experience the magic of this place - events, BBQs, horse shows, riding lessons, or just relaxing and drinking wine.
The Needles are a very creative team, along with the working horse ranch, and now the wine label, they also have a custom western furniture design company - Elden Collections....
The Elden Collection furniture designed by Alan and Kay can be found all over the ranch |
Can't you just imagine sitting here on a warm summer evening with a glass of wine? |
As someone who grew up riding horses, the arena is one of the coolest places I've ever ridden a horse in. Of course riding a cutting horse is akin to driving an Indy Formula race car when all you've ever driven is a Ford Sedan... talk about having to learn some new skills...
The arena waiting for the next big show, or cutting event, or just YOU taking a riding lesson with Alan |

Beautiful place and I like how they tie the name of the wine in to the ranch lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteThanks Gerry! Can't wait to see them really start cranking with the ranch... it's just to beautiful to stay undiscovered.
ReplyDeleteIt is good that we have a well-preserved ranch open to the public. By having such a place, urban junkies can experience how it feels to live in the country side. It is also a chance to live like our old American ancestors. And if you still want a piece of adventure, you can try horseback riding. That is one of the best ways to traverse the mountains and the prairies!
